Full-Stack Software Engineer

Our client is a global leader in fueling and convenience retail solutions, headquartered in Austin, Texas, with technology development and manufacturing facilities worldwide including Poland.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
• 5+ years of software development experience within Windows environments
• Familiarity with front end technologies such as Angular, HTML5, and React
• Experience with one virtualization technology (Docker, Kubernetes, or VMWare)
• Coding experience with C# and .NET Core
• Strong knowledge of OOPS, SOLID design principles, and multi-threading programming
• Experience in REST and RESTful web API development
• Team player and self-starter able to work with minimal supervision onsite and remotely
• Effective verbal and written communication skills

Nice to have:

• Payment software, Point of Sale, EPS development experience
• Understanding of EMV, P2PE, PCI PA-DSS, or payment systems
• Real-time embedded development experience in Windows CE 6.0/ IoT/ Windows 10 environments
• TCP/IP socket, serial communication, USB, video/audio development experience
• Experience with .NET Compact Framework 3.5 using Visual Studio 2008 IDE with C#, VB coding
• Comfortable working with hardware simulators
• Experience with tools like JIRA, Bitbucket, Visual Studio Team Explorer, Source Tree
• Experience with SignalR and RabbitMQ

• Analyze project and product requirements to design and develop new functions for Wayne payment products and 3rd party integrations
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and backlog grooming within global Scrum teams
• Develop individual sprint assignments with minimal supervision, showing willingness to learn new technologies independently
• Collaborate with payment team members and support teams to triage field issues, perform design/code reviews, and ensure high-quality delivery under tight schedules
