Data Engineer

Onex Group is a key Microsoft partner supporting companies in business transformation through solutions accelerating growth and facilitating data-driven decision-making. They support clients in Poland, Europe, and worldwide at every stage of maturity in data and AI usage, covering areas such as AI Driven Apps, Modern Data Platforms, Secure Cloud Infrastructure, and Effective Communication environments.

• Minimum 2.5 years of experience with Microsoft Azure solutions in data analysis.
• Good knowledge of SQL (e.g., T-SQL, PL/SQL).
• Strong understanding of relational databases (OLTP), data warehouses and analytical databases (OLAP), and Big Data.
• Familiarity with modern data platforms and processes of data processing and transformation (ETL/ELT).
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric is required. Additionally, experience with Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Analysis Services, Power BI, and Azure Stream Analytics is welcomed.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Commitment and willingness to further develop in public cloud technologies, especially Microsoft Fabric.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Scala or Python.
• Azure certifications such as AZ-900, DP-900, DP-203, DP-600, DP-700.

• Design and build solutions in the area of Modern Data Platforms (e.g., Big Data, Modern Data Warehouse, Data Analytics) based on Azure services.
• Implement data transformations (ETL/ELT), analytics (OLAP), and reporting using Azure technologies such as Data Factory, Fabric, and Power BI.
• Support the implementation of changes in existing Azure solutions.
• Participate in planning and estimating project tasks.
• Collaborate and communicate with external clients to analyze needs and execute tasks in the Azure environment.
• Continuously develop competencies related to Azure tools and services for data analytics.
