Senior MS SQL Server Database Developer

The company is based in Poland and operates mainly in the DACH region and Scandinavia, providing managed services to accelerate growth, solve complex tech problems, build MVP/POC, and modify legacy infrastructures. Their main competencies include Product & Application Engineering, DevOps, Cloud Security & Managed Services, and AI & Data Enablement.

• At least 5 years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server database development
• Documented experience independently leading development/implementation projects for large database systems
• Strong knowledge of T-SQL, performance optimization, and database architecture design
• Proven track record of at least 3 completed projects within the last 3 years involving MS SQL Server database development
• Experience with at least 2 completed projects focused on the maintenance and upkeep of MS SQL Server database systems
• Experience with at least 1 completed larger-scale project involving the development and/or new build of an MS SQL Server database system
• Advanced English proficiency

Nice to have:

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, or similar)
• Familiarity with modern data integration tools (SSIS, Power BI, or similar)
• German language skills at least B1 level for higher rate qualification

• Design and implement advanced database structures and architecture for MS SQL Server
• Develop and optimize complex stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views
• Lead development work on building new database systems from the ground up
• Analyze performance and tune queries at scale
• Provide technical guidance to junior/mid-level team members and conduct code reviews
• Collaborate with architects and business teams on solution design
• Ensure the quality, security, and compliance of implemented solutions with client standards
