Databricks Senior Consultant/ Tech Leader

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or data platforms
• Strong, hands-on experience with Databricks
• Knowledge of Databricks interoperability features including integrations with Teradata and Hadoop and open data formats like Delta and Iceberg
• Experience with Unity Catalog for data governance and access management
• Experience with GCP (Google Cloud Platform)
• Experience working in multi-cloud environments
• Solid knowledge of Python
• Solid understanding of data architecture and data governance
• Experience designing and maintaining data pipelines
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in consulting roles
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with business stakeholders

Nice to have:

• Working experience with Teradata and/or Hadoop
• Familiarity with AI/ML capabilities of Databricks
• Experience with Azure and Snowflake

• Organize and optimize the Databricks workspace and architecture
• Support and guide migration from Azure to GCP for the Databricks platform
• Ensure consistency, governance, and best practices across cloud environments
• Define access control, permissions, and governance models (Unity Catalog)
• Improve and support data pipelines and workflows
• Drive best practices, scalability, and performance
• Act as a technical advisor and collaborate with stakeholders
