Senior Security Officer

• Several years of operational/technical cybersecurity experience, including security monitoring, log and alert analysis, and incident handling.
• Experience conducting security audits and coordinating penetration tests.
• Practical skills in creating and maintaining security policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of KSC/NIS2 regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity tools and readiness to co-develop the toolstack.
• Understanding of security best practices in software development processes and ability to collaborate with development teams.
• Ability to communicate technical issues clearly and conduct training and educational activities.
• Communicative English language skills in speech and writing.

Nice to have:

• Cybersecurity certifications.
• Experience in the telecommunications industry.
• Knowledge of GDPR relevant for cooperation with the DPO.
• Experience in a key or important entity.

• Verify and analyze organization compliance with cybersecurity regulatory requirements, especially KSC/NIS2 and key entity obligations.
• Build cybersecurity awareness through training and educational activities.
• Supervise existing security systems and implement new solutions.
• Analyze logs, alerts, reports from security systems; handle, document, and report incidents.
• Develop, maintain, and test business continuity and Disaster Recovery plans, including participation in recovery tests and incident reviews.
• Participate in development and deployment teams to implement security best practices throughout software production cycles.
• Plan, organize, and coordinate security audits and penetration tests; document results and oversee recommendation implementation.
• Create, update, and develop security policies and procedures in cooperation with DPO and legal team.
• Support DPO in analyzing personal data breaches and risk assessment.
