Data Engineer / Senior Data Engineer Microsoft Fabric

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer on production data projects
• Strong knowledge of Python, PySpark, and SQL with experience handling large data sets
• Practical experience with Microsoft Fabric or related platforms such as Azure Synapse or Databricks
• Familiarity with layered data architecture like Medallion Architecture, and data formats Delta Lake / Parquet
• Experience designing data pipelines and integrating diverse sources
• Practical knowledge of Git, code review, and CI/CD workflows
• Experience implementing Data Quality mechanisms, data validation, and error reporting
• Knowledge of security and data protection principles in Azure environments
• Ability to optimize data processing for performance and cost

Nice to have:

• Certifications DP-600 / DP-700
• Experience in the financial sector
• Knowledge of R, CI/CD for data platforms
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies

• Design and implement data pipelines in Data Factory and PySpark notebooks
• Onboard and integrate various data sources including Excel files and databases
• Transform and prepare batch data
• Ensure data quality, versioning, and security
• Automate deployments using Git and CI/CD
• Work under high security and auditability requirements

Work mode is hybrid with agreed project meetings one day per week in Warsaw. The collaboration contract is B2B.
