Senior Software Engineer (Java + Neo4j)

Sopra Steria is one of the largest players in the tech industry in Europe, specializing in consulting, digital services, and software development. The Polish Global Delivery Center in Katowice operates since 2007 with around 1,000 specialists. The Digital Platform Services department specializes in cloud, operating systems, virtualization, databases, backup, storage, networking, and security. The Application Services department focuses on software development, data engineering, testing services, CRM, ITSM, ERP platform integrations, and application management for customers across Scandinavia, Benelux, France, Germany, Switzerland, and the UK.

• 4+ years of commercial experience in a senior or senior-ready role
• Strong experience with Java 8–21
• Hands-on knowledge of Neo4j 4.4 – 5.X
• Knowledge of Spring 5.2 and Spring Boot 2.3
• Knowledge of ElasticSearch 7.17- 8.X
• Proficiency with Git and GitHub
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Proactive and detail-oriented
• Ability to document processes and share knowledge effectively
• English at B2 level or higher
• Open to occasional business trips abroad and regular visits to office in Katowice
