DevOps Engineer (AI, GitLab)

The Polish branch, operating as the Global Delivery Center in Katowice since 2007, has a team of around 1,000 specialists. Departments include Digital Platform Services specializing in cloud, virtualization, databases, networking, security, and Application Services responsible for software development, data engineering, testing, CRM, ITSM, and ERP integrations for customers in Scandinavia, Benelux, France, Germany, Switzerland, and the UK.

• Advanced (5+ years) experience with GitLab and CI/CD pipelines.
• Expertise (3+ years) in container orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Good knowledge of Data Science and Machine Learning principles and AI frameworks such as Haystack, Langchain.
• Expertise with cloud services like AWS or Azure.
• Proficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, and experience with development tools like GIT, GitLab, Jira, Confluence.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools including structured logging and metrics collection tools like Prometheus, Grafana.
• Experience with database management systems like PostgreSQL and search engines such as Elastic Search.
• EU citizenship.
• Fluent English language skills at B2/C1 level.
• Openness to occasional business trips and visits to the Katowice office.

• Design and maintain AI infrastructure including compute, storage, networking, and GPU resources across cloud, on-premises, or hybrid environments.
• Automate deployment pipelines, building and maintaining CI/CD and MLOps pipelines for code, data workflows, model training, testing, validation, and deployment.
• Manage containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes to deploy and scale AI applications.
• Support model operationalization ensuring reproducibility, versioning, traceability, and controlled releases.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and performance tracking for infrastructure, applications, and AI model endpoints.
• Optimize infrastructure and deployment processes for reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Implement security and compliance controls covering infrastructure, access management, secrets handling, dependencies, data protection, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage environments and configuration using Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, AI engineers, software developers, cybersecurity specialists, and business teams.
• Support data and model lifecycle governance including versioning, auditability, lineage, backup, recovery, and lifecycle management.
• Troubleshoot incidents, deployment issues, and performance bottlenecks, improving automation, resilience, and operational efficiency.
