Lead DevOps Engineer

• Senior/Lead experience operating production workloads on GCP and GKE (including cluster topology, Helm, Kustomize, and ArgoCD).
• Expert-level Terraform skills with experience in GitOps workflows using Atlantis.
• Proven ability to design, build, and maintain multi-stage automated deployment pipelines.
• Proficiency with Istio (VirtualServices, mTLS, sidecar injection) and API Gateways (Kong).
• Hands-on experience with enterprise-grade security and secret management tools: Auth0, Dex, ESO, SOPS, VPC-SC, IAM.
• Operational familiarity with Cloud SQL (PostgreSQL), BigQuery, Elasticsearch, and ClickHouse.
• Upper-intermediate spoken and written English.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Ansible for host configuration, cluster bootstrapping, and disaster recovery.
• Advanced certifications such as GCP Professional Cloud Architect, GCP Professional Security Engineer, or Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKS).
• Practical experience with telemetry and monitoring tools such as Loki, Grafana, or ClickHouse.

Core Responsibilities:

• Architect, deploy, and manage highly available, fault-tolerant cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
• Maintain and scale declarative infrastructure using Terraform with GitOps workflows enforced by Atlantis.
• Build, maintain, and optimize automated continuous integration and delivery pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and ArgoCD.
• Manage enterprise networking perimeters, service mesh architectures (Istio mTLS, VirtualServices), and API Gateways (Kong) for secure ingress, egress, and microservices traffic.
• Implement telemetry, log aggregation, and alerting for system observability and reliability.
• Enforce security postures (VPC-SC, IAM, Org Policies), manage identity and secrets storage, maintain compliance (SOC2), and participate in operational on-call rotations.
