Middle Java Developer

• 4+ years of professional Java development experience
• Strong experience with Java, including version upgrades and migration from Java 8 to newer versions
• Hands-on experience with Spring and Tomcat
• Practical experience with jOOQ
• Experience with Java Server Faces (JSF) and PrimeFaces
• Experience working with MS SQL
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs
• Familiarity with GitHub repositories, CI processes, and code reviews
• Practical experience using AI-powered assistants (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to improve software delivery
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good command of English (minimum B2)
• Work permit and residency in the European Union region required

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with Kafka, Apache Storm, and KSQL
• Experience with asynchronous communication and event-driven architectures
• Familiarity with SOAP
• Basic knowledge of AWS, particularly services like S3
• Experience applying GenAI within SDLC including workflows and prompt patterns
• Interest in AI-driven practices such as agent-based workflows and AI-augmented development

• Developing and maintaining backend applications focusing on REST API development
• Participating in migration from Java 8 to newer Java versions (21/25)
• Designing and implementing solutions using Java, Spring, and jOOQ
• Working with a microservices platform communicating via REST APIs and asynchronous communication
• Using Kafka and other messaging technologies as part of the platform evolution
• Contributing to CI/CD processes and code reviews
• Collaborating with the team to improve existing systems and deliver new functionalities
