Senior Applied AI Scientist (AI/DS)

• 5+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, Applied AI, or related roles
• Strong practical experience with NLP, LLMs, or content generation systems
• Experience developing and deploying machine learning solutions in production environments
• Proficiency in Python and modern ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, Hugging Face)
• Experience working with large datasets and experimentation methodologies
• Experience with SEO, search ranking, recommendation systems, or information retrieval
• Experience with content optimization and large-scale content generation
• Familiarity with AWS-based environments
• Experience working with Kubernetes and cloud-native architectures
• Background in marketplace, classifieds, e-commerce, or consumer internet platforms
• Experience measuring business impact through A/B testing and experimentation
• Strong understanding of statistical analysis and hypothesis testing
• Experience collaborating with engineering and product teams in agile environments
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Fluent English

• Automotive industry experience
• Familiarity with Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) concepts
• Experience with Scala-based ecosystems
• Knowledge of search technologies such as Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, or similar platforms

• Developing AI-powered solutions to improve the organic discoverability of vehicle inventory
• Building scalable AI-driven solutions for generating vehicle descriptions, model content, and SEO/GEO landing pages
• Developing search intent clustering models for automotive search queries
• Identifying and predicting high-potential combinations of brands, models, locations, and vehicle inventory
• Designing and optimizing ranking signals to improve search visibility and drive organic traffic growth
• Collaborating with Product Managers, Product Analysts, and Engineers to identify and prioritize growth opportunities
• Measuring and evaluating the impact of AI-driven SEO initiatives through experimentation and data analysis
• Working closely with engineering teams to deploy, monitor, and maintain production-grade AI solutions
• Supporting the evolution of content and search strategies for both traditional SEO and emerging Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) channels
