Senior Java Integration Engineer (1-month contract)

• Extensive experience with Java development and integration projects
• Practical experience using AI-powered assistants (e.g. Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) in software delivery
• Strong knowledge of JDBC driver development and debugging
• Hands-on experience with Kerberos/GSS authentication
• Experience integrating Java applications with Tableau or similar BI platforms
• Solid understanding of ClickHouse or other analytical databases
• Experience working with legacy code and migrating existing solutions
• Familiarity with Windows-based development environments and VPN access
• Experience with packaging, signing and releasing Java applications
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
• Ability to work independently and deliver technical solutions with minimal supervision
• Good communication skills and fluent technical English (at least B2 level)

• Develop and validate Java-based integration solutions
• Reproduce and troubleshoot issues with the ClickHouse JDBC connector
• Debug and fix Kerberos/GSS authentication for Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server
• Migrate the connector from JDBC v1 to JDBC v2
• Test and verify functionality across Windows, VPN, and Tableau environments
• Package and sign connector releases for deployment
• Collaborate with technical stakeholders to resolve complex integration challenges

Work from the European Union region and a work permit are required.
