Senior C# Engineer

Motorola Solutions is a multinational corporation focused on building and connecting technologies to help protect people, property and places. The Artificial Intelligence Services Team implements AI technologies such as images, audio, and video analysis with data science and machine learning to advance public safety solutions. The team works remotely with the option to work at office locations offering flexible schedules and collaborative environments.

• 3-4 years of experience building applications.
• Expertise in an object oriented language: C#.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• Understanding of Web APIs and REST.
• Understanding of code build and deployment; experience with CI/CD pipelines is a bonus.
• Understanding of testing code; bonus for experience in unit, functional automation, load, performance, and security testing.
• Background in modern software development practices, principles, and tools.
• Results-driven and disciplined engineer focused on solid, well-crafted code.
• Enthusiasm for exploring new technologies.
• Willingness to mentor and share knowledge with respect for others.

Bonus Points For:

• Experience in Agile and Scrum processes.
• Experience with gRPC.
• Experience in Python.
• Experience with microservice principles and architectures.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker or other containerized solutions.
• Experience developing cloud-based solutions in Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Knowledge of diagnosis and debugging techniques including network tracing, threat analysis, log analysis, cloud APM logs, and system analysis using tools like kubectl.

• Engage in an engineering scrum team to produce public safety software solutions in the cloud.
• Develop mission-critical, real-time software affecting public safety.
• Produce maintainable, testable, scalable, performant, and highly available enterprise systems and services.
• Participate in Agile and Scrum practices including story breakdowns, grooming, estimation, and two-week sprints.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with coworkers.
• Demonstrate flexibility and resilience to changes in company focus and user needs.
• Create well-written software development artifacts.
