UI/Visual Designer

At Motorola Solutions, the focus is on building and connecting technologies that help protect people, property, and places, contributing to safer communities, schools, hospitals, businesses, and nations. The role is within a multidisciplinary design team focused on public safety solutions, including emergency call-taking and dispatch systems, video security, and tools for first responders and investigations.

• 6+ years of professional UI design experience, preferably in SaaS solutions.
• Passion and knowledge of type, color, iconography, and visual balance.
• Experience working with Design Systems: using, modifying, extending, and contributing.
• Ability to partner closely with software development teams.
• Strong collaboration skills with UX designers.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Exceptional portfolio demonstrating high quality and consistent UI designs.

Additional Requirements:

• Proven strategic thinking and clear communication about design.
• Mastery of design tools, especially Figma, for library management and prototyping.
• Interest in AI integration into design-to-development handover.
• Functional knowledge of code and experience working directly with developers is a benefit.
• Understanding of design impacts for native environments such as Android, iOS, and Windows is a plus.

• Collaborate with the UX design team to convert wireframes into final UI assets.
• Build and maintain product libraries derived from the Design System.
• Work closely with developers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation of designs.
• Advocate user-centered design principles and integrate AI technologies into workflows.
• Collaborate and brainstorm with designers, developers, and managers in a multidisciplinary team.
