Senior Linux Platform Engineer

Motorola Solutions Systems Polska Sp.z.o.o develops mission-critical TETRA-based communications systems used by public safety organizations, police, emergency services, and military sectors in over 100 countries. The Linux Platform team delivers platform solutions including Linux OS, virtualization techniques, and server configuration, forming the core of Dimetra communications systems.

• At least 5 years of expert-level experience in Linux systems development, management, and troubleshooting in complex enterprise environments.
• Advanced proficiency in Bash and Python programming.
• Solid foundation in networking principles, including routing and switching.
• Experience in virtualization management and troubleshooting, with preference for expertise in KVM.
• Proactive approach to innovation and continuous process improvement.
• Proven cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to integrate security into daily engineering tasks.
• Excellent command of English for technical communication and documentation.
• Availability to work 2 days per week from the Krakow office in Czerwone Maki.

• Design, develop, and test Linux-based platform solutions.
• Perform manual integration-level testing and test automation.
• Maintain platform hardware.
• Work in Scrum teams following Agile best practices.
• Collaborate cross-functionally on enterprise-grade solutions.
• Integrate a security-first mindset into engineering routines.
• Articulate technical strategies to stakeholders and produce high-quality architectural documentation.
• Work from the Krakow office 2 days per week (Thursday and Friday).
