Network Engineer

At Motorola Solutions, the Krakow PCR department (Professional and Commercial Radio) develops and delivers software solutions for business and mission critical communications globally, serving verticals such as healthcare, public safety, transportation, logistics, education, hospitality, energy, manufacturing, and retail. The team handles the end-to-end software development life-cycle including specification, design, implementation, testing, delivery, and maintenance, with technologies spanning on-premise and cloud-based development and mobile app development.

• Degree in IT, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or similar field.
• Practical experience configuring network hardware, specifically with Juniper (SRX/EX) and HPE/Aruba equipment.
• Solid understanding of IP networks, dynamic routing protocols, and TCP/IP.
• Familiarity with LAN/WAN concepts and VPN overlays.
• Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems and virtualization.
• Fluent in English for technical communication.
• Analytical mindset with strong troubleshooting skills.
• Self-driven, detail-oriented, and highly motivated.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of land mobile radio architectures.
• Experience with scripting in Python and PowerShell.
• Background in cybersecurity including system hardening.
• Active networking certifications.

• Plan and configure network layouts including native OSPF (No-Tunnel), Hub-and-Spoke (GRE/IPsec), and dynamic mesh VPNs (ADVPN/AVPN).
• Implement dynamic routing protocols such as OSPF and eBGP for large-scale deployments.
• Set up network security including defense segments, Intrusion Detection Systems, PKI management, and vulnerability scans.
• Maintain automation platforms using Python, PowerShell, and JS scripting.
• Perform active network probing, unify event data, and conduct continuous load testing.
• Manage extensive hardware infrastructure including isolated air-gapped lab environments.

Hybrid work mode requiring one to two days per week at the Krakow office.
