Technical Product Owner - DHP Secure Cloud Access

Roche Digital Technology (RDT) is a global team at the heart of Roche focused on powering the company with cutting-edge digital technologies, including artificial intelligence and data solutions, to enable smarter healthcare. The team builds, secures, and operates infrastructure platforms (cloud and on-prem) for Roche's digital products, addressing cybersecurity, compliance, and infrastructure challenges in healthcare while supporting high-velocity product development.

• Minimum 8 years total IT experience with at least 4 years in Product Leadership involving software product management or product ownership, ideally in platform or infrastructure contexts.
• Experience prioritising competing demands from multiple stakeholders and aligning goals and delivery timelines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, including ability to explain complex technical topics to diverse audiences.
• Experience facilitating technical discussions involving DevOps, cloud security, and compliance.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle and working in cross-functional teams.
• Consulting, negotiation, and influencing skills with understanding of platform constraints and customer pain.
• Experience with agile methods including Kanban and Scrum, backlog management, and sprint/flow-based delivery.
• Track record in improving developer experience, documentation quality, or self-service features for platform or infrastructure.
• Minimum 4 years technical experience with hands-on expertise in AWS, including reading/modifying Terraform modules, understanding IAM policies, and AWS cloud security services.
• Working knowledge of AWS Organizations, Identity Center, and cloud security.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Terragrunt) and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Understanding of DevSecOps practices and integrating security into development lifecycle.
• Experience in medium to large global enterprises with geographically-distributed AWS infrastructure.
• Previous roles as cloud engineer, DevOps engineer, SRE, architect, or technical lead.

Nice to have:

• Understanding of compliance in information security and design control, preferably healthcare regulations including HIPAA, HITRUST, ISO 27001, GDPR.
• AWS Certifications (Developer, Solution Architect, SysOps).
• Experience designing or operating multi-tenant platforms serving diverse teams.
• Familiarity with observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus) and incident management.
• Experience with platform onboarding automation or internal developer portals.

• Own, prioritise, and communicate the product roadmap for SAM's cloud landing zone and associated services balancing security, compliance, developer experience, and self-service.
• Act as the voice of platform customers, gathering feedback, representing the platform in planning sessions, and maintaining transparency on requests and priorities.
• Drive platform evolution toward self-service and automation, reducing manual workflows in favor of programmatic access, Infrastructure-as-Code, and API-first interfaces.
• Own the developer experience and documentation lifecycle, ensuring user-centric services with accurate documentation delivered alongside features.
• Define and communicate change management practices including deprecation timelines, backwards-compatibility, and migration support.
• Define and track success metrics such as platform adoption, onboarding time, self-service coverage, incident response, and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate closely with security, compliance, and architecture teams to ensure platform capabilities meet regulatory requirements (HIPAA, ISO 27001, GDPR, design controls).
• Contribute to strategy for extending cloud services to external partners including governance, security boundaries, and onboarding automation.

This role is open locally in Warsaw and Poznan only, with no relocation options included. Only local candidates will be considered.
