Senior QA Automation Engineer

• Minimum 7 years of professional experience in QA automation with senior ownership of large test suites.
• Deep expertise in Java, core concepts, and modern design patterns.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and solid knowledge of JUnit 5.
• Proven skills in test architecture, layering strategy, and multi-module suite structuring with Maven.
• Deep understanding of various API testing methodologies.
• Knowledge of coding principles: SOLID, DRY, KISS.
• Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines (preferably GitHub Actions).
• Familiarity with test reporting tools like Allure.
• Proficiency with Git, Jira, and Confluence.
• Experience with Angular, SSO/multitenant authentication, or Atlassian suite is a plus.
• Experience in regulated domains such as medical imaging, digital pathology, IVD, or clinical diagnostics preferred.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English proficiency.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced remote environment.
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborative mindset within agile teams.

• Own, build, and evolve automated test frameworks and quality gates for clinical workflows.
• Develop UI and API test layer strategies, algorithm orchestration, and third-party integrations.
• Optimize the software development lifecycle using AI tools for test script generation, data synthesis, refactoring, and root-cause analysis.
• Convert specifications into automated test scenarios, generate test data, documentation, and pull request descriptions using AI agents.
• Utilize prompt engineering to improve speed, coverage, and quality of production test suites.
• Design maintainable, scalable test frameworks and multi-module Maven suites.
• Implement API test types including contract, functional, integration, and smoke tests.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitHub Actions.
• Use test reporting tools like Allure or comparable frameworks.
• Collaborate effectively within a distributed, agile squad.

The position requires presence in Warsaw offices on average two days per week under a hybrid work model.
