Solution Architect - DIA R&D

• Demonstrated experience designing business-driven, standards-based, future-ready solutions within a specific solution context.
• Experience maintaining the vision, roadmap, and current landscape for technical solutions and assessing impacts on risks and application landscapes.
• Hands-on experience creating Proofs of Concept (PoCs).
• Previous experience collaborating with R&D users preferred.
• Knowledge of modern architecture practices, including use of non-functional requirements and architecture decision records.
• Proficiency in creating Conceptual & Logical Data Models, Taxonomies, and Ontologies.
• Ability to define and drive reference architectures, patterns, NFRs, and fitness functions.
• Strong capability to track external technology trends, conduct vendor assessments, and assess feasibility.
• Solid collaboration and influencing skills, with ability to lead and inspire.
• Strong analytical and logical problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to build consensus.
• Proactive mindset to identify opportunities to enhance value, improve solutions, and manage technical debt.

• Design solutions that meet product requirements, business priorities, and enterprise standards within a specific solution context, managing Non-Functional Requirements (NFR) and fitness functions.
• Architect scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions tailored to business needs.
• Solve complex problems by analyzing multiple information sources and maintain the solution vision, roadmap, and landscape.
• Assess and consult on impacts and dependencies of initiatives on capabilities, risks, and the application landscape.
• Create Conceptual & Logical Data Models, Taxonomies, and Ontologies for the solution and its interfaces.
• Define and drive reference architectures, patterns, and ensure Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) are recorded.
• Explain difficult or sensitive information to stakeholders and build consensus.
• Drive information sharing and exchange about the solution.
• Provide technical oversight, guidance, and consultation on specific technologies for product teams.
• Improve existing solutions, manage technical debt, research, evaluate, pilot, and drive adoption of new technologies.
• Identify opportunities to enhance business value.
