IT Semantic Engineer - RDT Data Platforms

• Demonstrated experience handling enterprise-scale data engineering projects and managing semantic web systems and knowledge graphs.
• Experience with Kubernetes infrastructure and GitOps automation.
• Senior-level data engineering, software engineering, or semantic web engineering experience with strong Python coding skills.
• Hands-on experience with Graph databases (Ontotext GraphDB preferred, Neo4j) and semantic web standards (RDF, OWL, SPARQL, ontology design).
• Understanding of GraphQL API design and Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Experience with containerized workloads in Kubernetes environments (Rancher/RKE2).
• Proficiency in Git-based workflows, automated deployments via ArgoCD, and Helm charts.
• Knowledge of secrets management with HashiCorp Vault and Linux networking, TLS configurations.
• Familiarity with FAIR principles and distributed workflow management platforms (e.g., Temporal) is a plus.
• Experience with OpenSearch for data retrieval and search capabilities is a plus.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working with validated or qualified platforms (GxP) is a plus.

• Lead the design, build, and maintenance of scalable data pipelines and graph architectures.
• Drive data integration projects from ingestion to semantic transformation, establishing unified enterprise ontologies.
• Solve complex data modeling, ingestion, and querying challenges.
• Evaluate, benchmark, and optimize performance of data access tools for AI systems.
• Collaborate with data owners, domain experts, and AI application teams to understand business requirements.
• Translate complex business use cases into robust schemas and standardized data endpoints.
• Drive technical evolution of the hub’s delivery architecture.
• Implement strategies for distributed data indexing, orchestration, and access.
• Embed FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) across workflows.
• Manage a large-scale enterprise knowledge system integrating multi-source metadata with automated deployments.
