Principal QA Engineer – Automation

SimCorp is a leading provider of integrated investment management solutions with over 3,000 employees and operates as an independent subsidiary of the Deutsche Börse Group. The role is within SimCorp's Product Division, working on the cloud native SaaS product, Digital Engagement Platform (DEP), built on Microsoft Azure.

• Skills in Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Experience with agile testing methodologies.
• Knowledge of testing methodologies including the testing pyramid.
• Experience with automated UI testing tools such as Selenium and Cypress.
• Automated API-based feature testing.
• Data-driven testing and automated data testing.
• Development skills in C# and .NET.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD).
• Ability to write and organize test cases.
• Manual application testing experience.

Nice to have:

• Experience with XUnit, NUnit, RestSharp.
• Familiarity with Moq.
• Experience with Data Build Tool (dbt).
• Knowledge of AutoMapper, FluentAssertions.
• Experience with SpecFlow (BDD).
• Performance testing tools such as JMeter, Postman, Azure Load Testing.
• Experience with Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Collaborate with three agile development teams of 5-7 members each.
• Understand and question customer requirements and discuss solutions.
• Implement automated tests for selected solutions.
• Conduct manual testing while gradually reducing its necessity.
• Automate load and data ingestion testing from multiple sources.
• Contribute to test strategies.
• Enhance test management and processes including planning, structuring, tracking, coordinating releases, and assessment.
• Tackle issues like streamlining build and deployment durations, enhancing collaboration, and increasing test automation.
