Senior Software Engineer

SimCorp is a company in the FinTech industry focusing on financial technology, skills development, and client success. The role is within the Corporate Actions Product Area (Data and Post-trade Engineering Line), collaborating internationally across Poland, Ukraine, Denmark, Austria, and Germany.

• M.Sc. in Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field.
• 3+ years experience in C# (.NET or .NET Framework).
• Knowledge in the financial domain, fintech, derivatives is an advantage.
• Experience in manual and automated testing with ability to design comprehensive test strategies (E2E, API, UT).
• Experience with Cloud and On-Prem Infrastructures.
• Familiarity with in-house tools, frameworks, and programming languages.
• Understanding and practice of XP methodologies like TDD and pair programming.
• Deep knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle and SQLite.
• Awareness of CI/CD tools and processes including git and TeamCity.
• Willingness to support legacy systems.
• Experience with Domain-Driven Design is a plus.
• Good English skills (written and spoken, upper intermediate or higher).
• Preferably experience as a member of a Scrum team.
• Curiosity and readiness for continuous learning.

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code in C# following coding standards.
• Develop new features and debug existing functionality in APL.
• Design, develop, and test new features supporting the existing product.
• Create test cases and automated tests including E2E, API, and unit tests.
• Collaborate closely with Team, Product Owner, and Technical Leads during feature analysis and implementation.
• Analyze functional and non-functional requirements during refinements.
• Support the product and prepare/conduct Sprint review/DEMO sessions.
• Initiate technical and process improvements within the team.
• Proactively improve automation, tools, and frameworks.
• Work as a full stack developer on both front-end and back-end (SOA).
