Front Office Trading Services - Business Analyst, Officer

State Street provides institutional investors with risk management, trading, securities lending, and portfolio strategy services globally. The Front Office Trading Services (FOTS) team supports State Street Market's Sales & Trading desks across North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific, acting as a liaison for internal and external clients and working closely with Operations on new trading initiatives and integration projects.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferred in Finance, Computer Science, or related field
• Minimum 4 years of experience in the financial services industry
• Excellent English communication skills
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and CoPilot: Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint

Considered an advantage:

• Exposure to foreign exchange and/or agency lending
• Familiarity with Python and SQL

Additional requirements:

• At least 3 days per week office presence

• Assist SSM Sales & Trading in trade support and related responsibilities
• Research and resolve trade-related inquiries from Sales, Trading, back office, fund groups, and clients
• Monitor trading systems and resolve issues with escalations
• Cancel, modify, and rebook trades primarily for FX and other derivatives/securities post-execution
• Support platform onboarding tasks related to Front Office components
• Support eFX applications, monitor alerts, and address exceptions
• Communicate with Trading, Sales, Operations, Finance, Technology, and vendors to resolve breaks and trade discrepancies
• Participate in projects requiring FOTS expertise, testing, or future support
• Work with IT, Credit & Compliance, Operations, and Business Risk teams to improve process inefficiencies
• Liaise with Client Support Services regarding onboarding new business
• Produce reporting for clients and internal use
• Follow controls and procedures to reduce business risk

The position requires office presence at least 3 days per week.
