Project Manager - Alternative Investments Data Solutions, Officer

The Alternatives Business Solutions Poland team focuses on building tactical automation solutions (e.g., using Python, VBA) to enhance client experience, increase operational efficiency, and meet regulatory requirements.

• University degree in banking/finance, technology/IT, or related field.
• Additional qualifications in IT-related fields are an asset.
• Minimum 3 years experience with proven process automation using Python.
• At least 5 years of work experience.
• Familiarity with object-oriented programming.
• Knowledge of other programming languages is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile development methods is advantageous.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Comfortable delivering trainings and presentations.
• Team player with ability to deliver work within agreed deadlines.
• Effective communication skills and willingness to seek clarifications.
• Ability to conduct research or seek help when required.
• Proactive in resolving inquiries and exceptions on a case-by-case basis.

• Design, develop, and implement scalable automation solutions and applications based on business and technical requirements.
• Identify opportunities for automation, process optimization, and technology-driven improvements across multiple business functions.
• Create new tools aimed at saving time, reducing risk, and improving quality.
• Perform project analysis of requirements received for each development effort.
• Manage the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
• Engage development resources to ensure best practices are applied and/or promote new best practices.
• Manage and maintain oversight of the promotion and demonstration of strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders, business analysts, and development teams to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with strategic objectives.
• Continually review and redefine development processes.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, solution designs, and support materials in line with organizational standards.
• Provide regular status reporting to project/program leads and management.
• Monitor project progress, communicate development status, and proactively manage technical risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Ensure timely delivery of technology solutions while maintaining high standards of quality and maintainability.
• Conduct ad hoc reports, administration, projects, and tasks as required.

Work organization requires a hybrid work model with 3 days of office work per week.
