ERM Data Governance Analyst, Assistant Vice President

State Street Corporation is a leading global financial services provider headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts. It offers services in investment servicing, investment management, and data and analytics solutions for institutional investors worldwide. The role is within the Centralized Modelling Analytics & Operations (CMAO) team in the Enterprise Risk Management's Financial Risk organization, supporting data governance across Credit Risk, Market Risk, and Stress Testing systems.

• Strong experience in ERM financial risk domain, including credit risk or credit analytics, with knowledge of financial instruments.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Experience using AI-assisted tools for developing, troubleshooting, and optimizing data pipelines and reporting within Python, SQL, and Databricks environments is highly desirable.
• Degree in business, finance, or related field; technical background (e.g., Computer Science, Information Management, Engineering) preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in large financial institutions with exposure to data-intensive processes, risk reporting, or data governance.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Very good command of English.

• Collaborate with ERM, Business, and IT teams to design and implement governance frameworks supporting risk data aggregation and reporting.
• Support development and maintenance of data governance frameworks aligned with BCBS 239 principles.
• Ensure data governance artifacts such as data definitions, lineage, controls, and ownership are established and reviewed.
• Partner with data stewards to resolve data quality issues and enforce governance standards.
• Design, implement, and maintain data quality checks within Collibra and related data quality platforms.
• Investigate and resolve data quality issues by querying underlying data sources to identify root causes and ensure data integrity and traceability.
