Collaboration Services Compliance and Security M365 Architect, Vice President

State Street is a global financial services company supporting institutional investors in managing risk and driving performance. The role is part of their Collaboration Services team focused on Microsoft 365 compliance and security solutions.

• Knowledge of Unified Communications/Collaboration industry standards and trends.
• Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft 365 application suite, conditional access policies, Microsoft Teams, Azure B2B, and external collaboration.
• Ability to work independently and lead teams toward common goals.

• Regularly establish, update and document technical standards.
• Lead adoption and optimization of Microsoft Purview and Microsoft Defender solutions.
• Establish procedural guidelines for using Purview, particularly in shared spaces.
• Work with M365 app tower leads to support application integration to Purview and Defender.
• Act as product owner for Purview and Defender at the platform level.
• Liaise between platforms and business stakeholders.
• Collaborate with legal, records management, privacy, and cybersecurity teams to support their requirements.
• Maintain RASCI matrix for all solutions in both product suites.
• Establish and document operational guidance supporting the solutions.
• Lead multiple aspects of data governance strategy.
• Own design, architecture, and engineering documentation for both solution suites.
• Prepare for and participate in internal audits.
• Conduct bi-annual reviews of documentation and processes; create remediation plans.
• Work with management and strategy teams to define long-term solution and environment roadmaps.
• Continuously evaluate and improve data governance and security postures across towers.
• Provide L5 support during major incidents.
• Identify and propose technical debt reduction and rationalization.

The role requires working hours shifted to support US-based teams, with the workday typically ending between 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM Poland local time. The position requires a minimum of three days per week working from the office in Poland. Equal opportunity employer statement included.
