Lead Java Developer (e-commerce)

Development of an e-commerce project for a client that is one of the largest companies in this sector in the country.

• Proven track record of leading development teams, including people management and project execution.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Java Developer.
• Knowledge and experience with the Java ecosystem including Java, Kotlin, Groovy, Spring Framework.
• Experience with other languages: Python, Go.
• Experience with Apache Spark, Apache Hadoop, Apache Mesos, and TensorFlow.
• Knowledge of engineering practices and methodologies: TDD, DDD, CI/CD, Pair Programming.
• Strong ownership and accountability for outcomes, quality, and system reliability.
• Strong hands-on engineering background with ability to co-drive technical decisions and design system architecture.
• Commitment to engineering excellence (clean code, testing, code reviews, CI/CD, production readiness).
• Participation in product discovery as a key technical partner.
• Ability to translate business goals into a clear scope of work, priorities, and actionable roadmaps.
• Experience working in a cross-functional environment (Product, UX, Business).
• Proven mobile app development experience.
• Documented experience in AI-driven projects and OKR frameworks.
• Experience in e-commerce, marketplaces, or consumer-facing platforms.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Advanced communication skills in Polish and English (at least B2 level).
• Open to hybrid work from Warsaw office.
