SAP HCM Payroll (PY) Consultant

Square One Resources is hiring for a project in a large organization involving SAP HCM Payroll (PY) system maintenance, development, and optimization.

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in SAP HCM PY.
• At least 5 years working independently as an SAP Consultant in large enterprises or as a project lead.
• Experience in SAP implementation, development, and maintenance projects.
• Experience collaborating with business users, technical teams, and external suppliers.
• Very good knowledge of SAP HCM PY configuration.
• Strong understanding of standard functional extensions in the PY module.
• Ability to analyze requirements and design implementation concepts.
• Skills in designing and implementing extensions via User Exits, BAdI, and BAPI.
• Experience designing and implementing interfaces between SAP HCM PY and external systems.
• Basic knowledge of ABAP programming.
• Basic knowledge of SAP authorization mechanisms for user permissions control.

Nice to have:

• Experience with SAP HCM migration to SAP S/4HANA, especially brownfield approach.
• Experience as a module consultant in SAP HCM transformation projects.
• Strong knowledge of SAP HCM modules PA (Personnel Administration) and PT (Time Management).
• Experience working in large, complex, multi-system organizations.

• Administration and configuration of the SAP HCM PY module.
• Ensuring the proper functioning of the SAP system in the designated area.
• Analyzing, verifying, and refining business and technical requirements.
• Preparing concepts for implementing changes, deployments, and system development.
• Participating in requirements preparation, bid evaluation, and project implementation in application solutions.
• Designing and coordinating changes deployment in the SAP HCM PY module.
• Designing and implementing interfaces between SAP HCM PY and external systems.
• Designing extensions using technologies User Exits, BAdI, and BAPI.
• Collaborating with ABAP programmers on system changes and extensions.
• Cooperating with external vendors on implementation, development, and system maintenance.
• Working with maintenance and development teams.
• Identifying opportunities for optimization and improvement of applications and supporting solutions.
• Providing ongoing support to SAP users, analyzing and resolving reported issues.
• Estimating effort for changes and evaluating project risks.
