Senior Software Apps Engineer

• University Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Java and related technologies.
• Advanced proficiency in Java 11 and above.
• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Core, Spring MVC Framework, and Spring Security.
• Knowledge of Hibernate / JPA.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, and TestNG.
• Proficiency with REST API development.
• Experience with Db2, Postgres, or other DBMS and SQL.
• Familiarity with Maven and Gradle.
• Experience with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.
• Knowledge of frontend technologies Angular and AngularJS.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Basic knowledge of Python.
• Familiarity with Git and Bitbucket.
• Experience with AI tools and Agentic Coding.
• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working in Agile and Waterfall models.
• Good understanding of relational databases.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
• 2+ years of experience as a technical lead.
• Availability for international travel (less than 10% per year).
• Based in Poland.

Nice to have:

• Experience with performance tuning tools.
• Experience programming stored procedures in SQL databases.
• Knowledge of C programming.

• Analyze, design, program, debug, and modify software enhancements or new products.
• Write code using current programming languages and technologies.
• Perform testing and debugging of applications.
• Complete documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.
• Interact with users to define system requirements and necessary modifications.

Based in Poland; availability for international travel less than 10% per year.
