Internal Transformation Services - Assistant Director

EY GDS is seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Business Consultant to operate globally on internal programs critical to EY’s strategy and ambition. The role involves collaborating with Executive Leadership and driving transformative projects with a focus on project management, change management, and design thinking.

• Master’s degree in business administration, management, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience, including at least 7 years in management or business consulting.
• Advanced MS Suite skills, especially in developing presentations and dashboards.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, Change Management, or Design Thinking are highly desirable.
• Deep understanding of project management methodologies like Agile and Waterfall.
• Extensive knowledge of change management principles and practical leadership experience.
• Proficiency in design thinking frameworks and tools.
• Awareness and experience leveraging technology as enablers.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills tailored to diverse audiences.

Nice to have:

• Experience working in Big 4 professional services firms or global management consultancies.
• MBA or equivalent advanced education.
• Certification in Project Management, Organisational Change Management, Design Thinking, or Facilitation.

• Collaborate with Executive Leadership to understand business objectives and challenges.
• Manage and engage senior stakeholder relationships at CxO, Partner, and Functional Head levels.
• Perform rapid landscape assessments for stakeholders and provide actionable insights.
• Bring diverse perspectives including market trends and innovative ideas to support data-driven decision making.
• Conduct comprehensive analyses of organization’s processes and systems.
• Provide strategic recommendations and action plans to drive business performance and transformation.
• Develop roadmaps for implementing project management, organizational change management, and design thinking initiatives.
• Lead and manage complex projects ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria with clients and stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Foster effective communication and collaboration among project teams and stakeholders.
• Develop and implement change management strategies to support transformation initiatives.
• Conduct Change Impact Analysis and Change Readiness/Gap Assessment with actionable recommendations.
• Build strong change networks, drive change adoption, manage stakeholders with a people-centric approach.
• Work towards mindset shifts and achieve cultural transformation when needed.
• Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of change management efforts and adapt accordingly.
