VeloBank S.A. is a financial institution operating in Poland with offices in Warsaw, Wrocław, and Katowice. The IT area includes programmers, testers, and administrators responsible for developing and maintaining transactional systems, electronic banking, sales systems, CRM, and other applications.

• Leadership skills including team motivation, task delegation, employee development, and decision making.
• Minimum 3 years of experience managing a team of IT specialists or experts.
• Higher technical education, preferably in computer science, telecommunications, or electronics.
• Practical knowledge of network technologies: LAN, WAN, VPN, firewall, routing, switching.
• Experience in optimizing infrastructure costs while maintaining quality, security, and availability requirements.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to cooperate with business and technical stakeholders and manage vendor relationships effectively.
• Independence, responsibility, and result orientation.
• English language proficiency enabling comfortable reading and creating documentation.
• Presentation of a current certificate of no criminal record regarding crimes against information protection at the final recruitment stage.

Nice to have:

• Experience in implementing or maintaining SD-WAN solutions.
• Knowledge of financial sector regulations and standards, especially DORA and NIS2.
• Industry certifications, e.g., CCNA, CCNP, ITIL.
• Familiarity with tools for monitoring, configuring, and automating network infrastructure.
• Experience managing budgets, maintenance contracts, or procurement processes in IT areas.

• Managing a team of experts responsible for the administration and maintenance of the Bank's computer networks, including planning, coordinating, monitoring team work, developing employee competencies, setting goals, and providing regular feedback.
• Designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure and contributing to its development and modernization.
• Implementing best practices in network resource management, standardizing and automating operational processes.
• Monitoring and optimizing infrastructure performance and planning its capacity and growth.
• Resolving network-related issues and ensuring high availability and security considering operational continuity and resilience requirements.
• Collaborating with other departments to achieve business goals and translate business needs into infrastructure solutions.
• Participating in and coordinating incident meetings related to infrastructure with oversight of root cause analysis and remedial actions.
• Preparing requirements for procurement proceedings, evaluating offers, cooperating with suppliers, and optimizing network service and solution costs.
• Reporting to superiors on key indicators, risks, initiative statuses, and recommended actions.
• Participating in IT infrastructure transformation and regulatory projects.
