Senior Python Developer (k/m)

Lumicode Sp. z o.o. is part of the Pentacomp Group, which for nearly 30 years has been providing IT solutions and technology services to major enterprises and public sector institutions. They implement projects supporting the digital transformation of clients, combining experience with modern technologies. The position is for a project in the public sector.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Python programming with very good language knowledge.
• Practical knowledge of Django and Flask; experience building APIs using DRF, FastAPI, or Falcon.
• Knowledge of Clean Architecture, DDD, and Hexagonal Architecture; experience in architectural decision-making.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, data modeling, and query optimization.
• Very good knowledge of Django Wagtail and Django Admin.
• Experience designing microservices and distributed systems, including asynchronous communication using RabbitMQ and Redis.
• Practical knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Elasticsearch, especially in search optimization.
• Knowledge of Git, CI/CD, and Nginx.
• Basic knowledge of application security and experience in testing and test strategy planning.
• Analytical problem-solving skills, experience in code reviews, and mentoring junior developers.
• Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of RDF and experience with Jena Fuseki.
• Experience with Metabase.
• Previous work on modernizing complex IT systems.
• Experience in delivering technical presentations or internal trainings.

• Designing and developing complex IT system components in Python.
• Modernizing existing solutions to align with the adopted architecture.
• Designing application architecture using appropriate design and architectural patterns.
• Collaborating with architects to define development directions and standards.
• Designing and developing APIs and web applications.
• Conducting code reviews and ensuring code quality within the team.
• Analyzing and optimizing databases, search functions, and system component communication.
• Preparing post-implementation reviews and related documentation.
• Sharing knowledge through team presentations and internal training.
• Mentoring and supporting less experienced developers.
