Middle Support Engineer (Node.js)

MasterBorn Sp. z o.o. works with US-based clients in the high-end American IT market, providing support engineering services primarily in AWS Cloud using Node.js, TypeScript, and SQL/NoSQL technologies.

• 2+ years of commercial experience in Node.js
• Experience debugging applications on AWS (Cognito, CloudWatch, SQS, SES, Lambda)
• Good understanding of JavaScript (ES2018+), OOP, clean code, and best practices
• Experience with at least one Node.js backend framework (preferably Express.js)
• Experience with relational SQL databases and ORMs or query builders (e.g., Sequelize, Knex)
• Experience with NoSQL and/or in-memory databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis) is a plus
• Knowledge of design and architecture patterns such as SOLID and KISS
• Understanding and basic usage of Docker and GitHub Actions
• English language proficiency at C1 level
• Polish language proficiency at C1 level
• Problem-solving skills, detail-oriented, and ability to prioritize quality outcomes under tight timelines

Nice to have:

• Past support-level experience
• Open-source contributions
• Experience with Serverless frameworks
• Experience with TypeScript and other backend frameworks
• Familiarity with process automation tools (n8n, Zapier, Make)
• Basic Docker environment setup and local connection skills
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
• Ability to debug and fix basic React issues
• Experience in other support roles

• Communicate with clients to gather issue reports and troubleshoot during 14-22 CET/CEST hours
• Review error tracking tools, infrastructure, and third-party connections, debugging as needed
• Prioritize and solve ongoing client requests and bugs
• Maintain proactive communication and problem-solving to provide top-quality service
• Write readable and maintainable JavaScript code
• Involve technically in product improvement and fixing
• Design and modify basic database structures
• Write documentation for code and solutions
• Collaborate with team to translate business complexities into solutions
• Stay updated on trends, share knowledge, and teach others
• Improve and reuse the company’s knowledge base
