Test Manager

• Experience managing tests in complex projects concerning software, data, or platforms (3+ years)
• Experience in test automation and integration with CI/CD pipelines (2+ years)
• Experience with at least three of the following test types or levels: unit, integration, system, system integration, UAT, regression, performance, or security testing
• Experience creating test cases based on requirements, user stories, or acceptance criteria (3+ years)
• Experience in non-functional testing including performance, load, security, usability, compatibility, or resilience testing (2+ years)
• Experience working with test management or task tracking tools such as Jira, Xray, Azure DevOps or similar (3+ years)
• Experience in Agile projects or product-oriented development teams (2+ years)
• Very good knowledge of German (C1 or higher)
• Very good knowledge of English (C1 or higher)
• Ability to work in complex, international project environments
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate with technical and business teams

Nice to have:

• Experience testing data-driven applications, data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, or SQL-based rule validation (1+ year)
• Experience in test data management and defining expected test outcomes (2+ years)
• Experience ensuring quality in cloud, containerized, or Kubernetes-based environments (2+ years)
• Ability to create testing strategies in agile software development models (1+ year)
• Experience with shift-left testing and quality assurance throughout sprint cycles
• Experience in structured defect management, quality reporting, and using defect tracking tools (1+ year)
• Knowledge of best practices and standards in software quality management
• Experience working with modern test automation tools and frameworks
• Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps, and automated software delivery processes

• Manage the testing process in complex projects related to software, data, and platforms
• Create and implement test strategies and plans
• Design test cases based on requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Coordinate and oversee testing at various levels including unit, integration, system, UAT, and regression testing
• Plan and execute non-functional tests such as performance, load, security, usability, compatibility, and resilience
• Develop and maintain test automation and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with development teams, DevOps, Product Owners, and other stakeholders regarding software quality
• Monitor test progress, report quality, and identify risks and improvement areas
• Manage defects including classification, prioritization, and monitoring their resolution
• Work with test management and task tracking tools like Jira, Xray, and Azure DevOps or comparable solutions
• Support shift-left testing and quality assurance at every stage of software development
• Collaborate on test data management and define expected test outcomes
• Maintain proper documentation of processes, results, and test reports
• Identify opportunities to optimize test processes and increase automation
