SAP Consultant (Application Engineer)

• Strong knowledge of SAP from the perspective of financial systems, especially as a general ledger system
• Hands-on experience in SAP implementation from scratch
• Practical understanding of accounting and controlling processes, including general ledger, chart of accounts, and accounting configuration
• Ability to translate business requirements into SAP configuration and system solutions
• Experience in configuring and maintaining SAP processes internally
• Experience in integrating SAP with other systems and managing financial data flows
• Ability to verify and challenge solutions delivered by external vendors
• Strong analytical skills and project-oriented mindset
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with demanding business stakeholders
• Ownership, proactivity and structured approach to work

Nice to have:

• Experience with SAP Private Cloud
• Experience with SAP FI/CO implementations in international or medium/large organizations
• Experience with procurement processes in SAP
• Experience supporting further SAP module rollouts such as Controlling, Procurement, Talent, or Payroll
• Experience working with technical teams responsible for infrastructure, integrations and data migration

• Supporting the implementation of SAP as a general ledger system at XTB
• Translating accounting, controlling and procurement-related business requirements into SAP configuration and system processes
• Working closely with external implementation partners and evaluating proposed solutions from a quality and business-fit perspective
• Cooperating with Accounting, Finance, Procurement and Technology teams
• Supporting data migration, integrations and data flows between SAP and other systems
• Configuring, maintaining and developing SAP processes after implementation
• Taking ownership of assigned topics, identifying risks and proposing solutions
• Supporting the long-term development of the SAP environment at XTB
