Senior DevOps Engineer (Azure)

The client is a global IT distributor and solutions aggregator providing hardware, software, cloud solutions, and services to technology vendors, resellers, and system integrators.

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (App Services, AKS, Azure DevOps, Azure Monitor)
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and container orchestration (Kubernetes), with hands-on experience with Docker, Helm, and ArgoCD/GitOps
• Strong experience with CI/CD pipeline design and automation
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM) and configuration management (Ansible)
• Deep understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture principles
• Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting with Azure Monitor and Dynatrace
• Strong scripting and automation skills (Bash, Python, PowerShell), with good knowledge of YAML
• Good understanding of Linux environments
• Experience using AI-powered development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot or alternatives)

Nice to have:

• Experience with GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps pipelines
• Experience implementing DevSecOps practices
• Knowledge of cloud cost optimization strategies
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-400, or similar)

• Manage and maintain CI/CD processes across Kubernetes and local VM-based environments
• Develop and support build and release pipelines in Azure DevOps
• Manage Kubernetes deployments using ArgoCD and GitOps practices
• Perform regular security updates, patching, and maintenance activities across environments
• Participate in software release processes including preparation, deployment, validation, and troubleshooting
• Work with Azure Cloud infrastructure and related services
• Automate infrastructure configuration and operational tasks using Ansible
• Develop automation and operational scripts using Bash and Python
• Create and maintain infrastructure and deployment configuration in YAML
• Monitor application and infrastructure health using Dynatrace
• Troubleshoot CI/CD, deployment, infrastructure, container, and environment-related issues
