Software Engineer

• Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Proven background in application support and/or software development within corporate or global environments.
• Solid hands-on experience with IBM iSeries and ILE RPG.
• Knowledge of SQLRPG, RPG Free Format, and API integration is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work under pressure.
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps principles.
• Fluent English (written and spoken) and great communication skills for working with global teams.
• Knowledge of wealth management or banking processes is a plus.

• Experience with API integration.

• Deliver reliable production support during UK business hours, ensuring service availability per SLAs.
• Diagnose and resolve incidents and problems, managing support tickets and prioritising backlog items.
• Perform BAU operational activities such as data archiving, role swaps, backup/restore, security reviews, audits, and upgrades.
• Contribute to Agile delivery: requirements gathering, technical design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Create and maintain technical documentation aligned with standards and engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with global teams and business stakeholders to ensure effective issue resolution and continuous improvements.
