Staff Software Engineer, Product Engineering - EU

Ashby is a company providing Talent Acquisition (TA) software with notable customers like Notion, Linear, Shopify, and Snowflake. • Has not previously led or taken ownership of projects.
• Seeks to mentor earlier-career engineers (limited mentorship opportunities).

• Take ownership over a large portion of one of Ashby's products and manage projects end-to-end, wearing hats traditionally held by product and design.
• Research competitors, write product specifications, and make wireframes.
• Design and build features such as automated interview scheduling, declarative filter architecture, and offer signing within Ashby.
• Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders and other engineers to deliver features.
• Participate in minimal process workflows, pushing information outward and pulling in help as needed.
• Engage in thoughtful and deliberate communication with the team across time zones.
• Contribute to building blocks like analytics modeling, policy engine, workflow engine, and design system improving the overall product.
