Technical Staff Writer (Blogs & Newsletters)

• Strong writing skills with a portfolio demonstrating technical explainers, engineering posts, or tutorials for a developer audience.
• Technically curious and capable of understanding concepts like logs, traces, data warehouses, APIs, LLMs, and AI agents.
• Ability to develop clear, useful, and engaging content independently.
• Prior experience writing across various styles and mediums including SEO blogs and social media threads.
• AI-savvy, using AI tools to improve workflows and content quality.

Nice to have:

• Experience writing technical content at a developer tools, B2B SaaS, or similar company.
• Experience shipping side projects or small tools related to documentation.
• Familiarity with or usage of PostHog.

• Write blog posts including use case guides, tutorials, technical explainers, and engineering posts that help users and AI agents use PostHog better.
• Research and deeply explain technical details, engineering processes, and concepts.
• Decide independently on topics to write based on company shipping priorities and interests.
• Choose appropriate content formats such as engineering blogs, SEO explainers, or threads on social media.
• Collaborate with engineers and marketers to gather stories about their work and edit their blog posts as needed.
