Head of IT & Software Engineering

HARDWARE DIRECT is a distributor of server equipment serving major companies in Poland and Europe, including mBank, BMW, CCC, Zalando, and Credit Suisse. The company develops a web-based e-commerce system integrated with its own proprietary ERP system used intensively across various departments.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT
• Experience in software development and IT project management with C#, ASP.NET, and ERP systems
• Experience managing a technical team
• Strong knowledge of application architecture
• Knowledge of relational databases and practical SQL skills
• Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps processes
• Experience with Jira or similar tools
• Experience managing on-premise infrastructure
• Ability to estimate work and account for tasks
• Very good communication skills
• Independence and decision-making ability

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Magento 2 is an additional advantage (not required)

• Manage an IT team consisting of 8 developers, DevOps, and an administrator
• Make technical and development decisions regarding the ERP system
• Take responsibility for technology, infrastructure, and IT operations including test, dev, and production environments, servers, databases, networks, CI/CD, backups, monitoring, security, disaster recovery procedures, and documentation
• Collaborate with all company departments to develop business and technical requirements for systems
• Participate in IT staff recruitment
