Senior C++ Software Engineer

Emblasoft is a global provider of Service Assurance, Test & Verification, and Service Enablement solutions for telecom operators and network vendors, covering legacy 2G/3G through VoLTE, 4G, 5G, and IMS infrastructure. NetQPro, part of the Emblasoft group, specializes in passive monitoring with deep telecom-protocol engineering expertise and the nScan platform. The nScan system is used by mobile operators in Poland and other countries across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

• 5+ years of professional experience in C++ development (C++11/14/17), including strong command of the STL, RAII, and multi-threaded programming.
• Strong background in Linux systems programming, including sockets, processes/threads, and performance profiling/debugging using tools like gdb, perf, and valgrind.
• Experience building or maintaining server-side, long-running daemon software.
• Comfortable with CMake based build systems and Git workflows.
• Ability to read RFCs and protocol specifications to write efficient parsing code.
• Experience with ClickHouse and MySQL databases.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Nice to have:

• Exposure to telecom or networking protocols such as GTP, Diameter, SS7, SIP/RTP, S1AP/NGAP, RANAP, SCTP, or motivation to learn.
• Experience with high-performance packet capture technologies like PF_RING, DPDK, libpcap, or kernel-bypass networking.
• Familiarity with Boost/ASIO, Protocol Buffers, and additional SQL databases such as MariaDB.
• Knowledge of specialized network interface cards like Napatech or Intel DPDK-capable NICs.
• Background in network monitoring, lawful interception, QoE/QoS analytics, or OSS/BSS systems.
• Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor.

• Extending and maintaining protocol decoders across the telecom stack, including legacy SS7 signaling and modern 4G/5G core and radio protocols, plus VoIP.
• Improving a high-performance packet capture and processing pipeline designed for line-rate throughput and multi-threaded, NUMA-aware handling.
• Developing the distributed client–server architecture transporting decoded data through correlation and storage layers.
• Working on the persistence layer including schema design and performance for session records, statistics, and configuration.
• Debugging and profiling production issues ensuring correctness, stability, and speed.
• Collaborating on architecture decisions as the nScan platform evolves to cover new protocols and network generations.
