• Several years of experience in test automation
• Experience in mobile application testing, especially automated interaction testing
• Experience testing backend, microservices, and monoliths in Java environments
• Good knowledge of Java and/or JavaScript
• Practical knowledge of REST API
• Experience with PostgreSQL and SQL
• Knowledge of Apache Kafka or similar queue systems
• Experience with automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, REST Assured
• Knowledge of Cucumber/Gherkin
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI
• Knowledge of JMeter and basic performance testing
• Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms, e.g., OAuth2 and tokens
• Ability to analyze test results and draw conclusions regarding system quality

Nice to have:

• Programming experience in Java
• Knowledge of security aspects such as encryption and payload signing
• Understanding system architecture aspects like API Gateway, load balancing, and service throughput/performance
• Advanced experience in performance testing for mobile and backend
• Familiarity with tools like Perfecto, Powerfarm, Grafana, and Elasticsearch

• Designing, developing, and maintaining automated tests for mobile applications and backend
• Creating functional and integration tests
• Testing REST API and system communication
• Verifying data in PostgreSQL databases using SQL
• Testing integration with message queue systems such as Apache Kafka
• Conducting performance tests for mobile applications and backend
• Analyzing test results and system quality
• Identifying bugs, edge cases, and subtle issues
• Developing QA strategies and standards
• Improving the testing process
• Collaborating with development, product, and IT teams
• Preparing clear test reports
• Sharing knowledge and mentoring less experienced team members
