Senior Software Engineer - Java

Vyntra is a fintech company created through the combination of Swiss fintech NetGuardians and Belgian fintech Intix. The company has around 150–160 employees globally, with teams across Switzerland, Belgium, Poland, Nairobi, and Singapore. The Warsaw engineering team focuses on Financial Crime, building technology to help banks detect fraud and suspicious activity using large-scale transaction data.

• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring/Spring Boot backend development
• Experience with microservices and distributed or cloud-based systems
• Experience investigating production issues and finding root causes
• Experience with SQL databases
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience contributing to technical design and decisions
• Experience working in agile development teams
• Clear and practical communication skills

Nice to have:

• Experience with Kafka, Elasticsearch, Docker, Grafana, TypeScript, Angular, Kubernetes, Python, Spark, StarRocks

• Designing and developing backend services using Java and Spring Boot
• Taking features from technical design through development and into production
• Working with distributed systems, messaging, and large volumes of data
• Investigating production issues, finding root causes and implementing long-term solutions
• Improving the performance, reliability, and scalability of existing systems
• Contributing to technical and architectural decisions
• Collaborating with other engineers while taking ownership of your own solutions
