Senior Software Engineer, Java & Angular

Vyntra is a fintech company created through the combination of Swiss fintech NetGuardians and Belgian fintech Intix, with around 150-160 people globally. Their Warsaw team focuses on the Financial Crime product that helps banks detect fraud and suspicious activity using large-scale transaction data.

• Good hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot backend development
• Strong experience with TypeScript and modern Angular
• Experience with distributed systems, microservices, or cloud-based applications
• Experience building modern frontend applications, ideally within an Nx monorepo
• Good problem-solving skills, including investigating issues beyond own code
• Experience contributing to technical design and decision-making
• Experience working in agile development teams

Nice to have:

• Experience with Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, SQL, Elasticsearch, Spark, Grafana, StarRocks, and Python

• Designing and developing features across Java and Angular
• Investigating production issues and implementing long-term solutions
• Improving performance, reliability, and scalability of existing services
• Working with distributed services, messaging, and large datasets
• Contributing to technical and architectural decisions
• Building reusable Angular components within an Nx monorepo
• Challenging existing approaches to propose better solutions
• Collaborating with engineers while taking ownership of solutions
