Senior System Integrator (DevOps Engineer)

emagine Polska is a company offering a 3-year project focused on system integration with a strong emphasis on DevOps practices and security operations. The role is based in Bucharest and involves working mainly in a Linux environment, contributing to system integration and supporting pre-sales technical activities.

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent, or proven relevant professional experience.
• Minimum 7 years experience in software integration and qualification.
• Proficient in software project lifecycle management.
• Proficient in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Ansible.
• Proficient in Linux operating system.
• Advanced skills in Application Servers like JBoss and Tomcat.
• Expertise in web services including SOAP, REST, and RPC.
• Professional English proficiency (B1 level).

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with Maven Artifact repositories (Nexus or similar).
• Experience with scripting such as Bash.
• Understanding of Queueing services like Rabbit MQ and Active MQ.
• General familiarity with cloud platforms, mainly private cloud environments.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructures including Windows, Linux, and virtualization.
• Experience with test tools such as Jira and JMeter.
• Knowledge of Cybersecurity principles including PKI.

• Designing, deploying, and integrating the company’s portfolio of applications with a focus on DevOps and security operations.
• Defining integration and test strategies, test plans, and test scenarios.
• Ensuring requirements traceability and coverage.
• Utilizing DevOps and CI/CD best practices.
• Building integration environments and installing or upgrading solutions.
• Performing integration and validation tests including load, performance, high availability, accuracy, and security tests.
• Investigating issues by analyzing logs during test execution, reporting incidents through a configuration management tool, and monitoring them until closure.
• Producing documentation for installation, testing, operations, and administration.
• Preparing and providing training for customers, support, and maintenance teams.
• Supporting pre-sales teams on specific technical requests related to integration.
• Defining and autonomously implementing the entire integration and test strategy of a full project requiring advanced knowledge in OS, database, and integration tools.
