• 6+ years of professional experience writing production code in large codebases
• Fullstack engineering experience with backend focus, including Javascript/Typescript (React, Node.js) or Go/Scala/Python
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Kafka for infrastructure
• Strong communication skills for cross-functional and cross-timezone collaboration
• Autonomous judgment balancing speed and code quality
• Passion for creating excellent user experiences and attention to detail
• Curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies
• Hands-on experience with search engineering, including OpenSearch or ElasticSearch
• Knowledge in embeddings and machine learning approaches to search and retrieval

Nice to have:

• Experience in an Applied AI role

• Build and own broad aspects of the product, including user interfaces and scalable back-end processing logic
• Participate in all stages of the product development process with a cross-functional team
• Develop clean, maintainable, and high-quality code
