Leroy Merlin Polska is a company operating with locations in Warszawa, Kraków, Wrocław, Gdańsk, and Poznań. The role involves managing corporate IT architecture with a focus on Digital Workplace, Identity Management, and HR areas, and cooperating with the Central office in France.

• 3–5 years of experience as a corporate architect.
• Higher technical education in computer science or related fields.
• Knowledge of business, data, application, and technology architecture in large organizations.
• Practical knowledge of system design and architecture, including TOGAF framework and UML modeling language.
• Familiarity with integration techniques and strategies (e.g., API Gateway, microservices).
• Understanding of data and analytics areas such as Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Big Data, Data Science.
• Knowledge of cloud solutions (e.g., GCP, Kubernetes) and AI tools supporting the SDLC process.
• Experience working with various project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile).
• Ability to translate business needs into technological solutions.
• Experience cooperating with external IT service providers and preparing RFP/RFI/RFQ.
• English language proficiency minimum at B2 level for effective communication.

• Co-create and implement the corporate IT architecture development strategy and manage architecture in selected organizational areas including Digital Workplace, Identity Management, and HR.
• Define and develop architectural principles, technology standards, and roadmaps supporting IT strategy and business goals.
• Plan application, system, and data integration architecture ensuring consistency and compliance with standards.
• Monitor technology and architecture trends, recommending valuable solutions and technologies.
• Identify technical debt, plan its reduction, and include necessary actions in roadmaps.
• Support key IT projects from requirement definition and technology selection to solution design and cost estimation.
• Collaborate with business, IT, and the French headquarters to deliver solutions balancing business needs, technology capabilities, security, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Participate in key architectural decision-making and coordinate activities of the Architects Guild and Architecture Committee.
• Manage the Architecture Repository, technology standards, and register of recommendations and architectural decisions.
• Monitor strategy implementation and report progress and compliance with standards.
• Build and develop architectural knowledge within the organization, share best practices, and initiate improvements in technology, tools, and processes.
• Ensure effective collaboration and knowledge flow between the French headquarters and other business units.
