Architekt HD/BI

IT Factory is a dynamic company with experience in the development, implementation, and support of IT solutions. The recruitment is for a significant Polish company in the insurance and finance sector. The role involves designing architectures for data warehouse and business intelligence systems in a hybrid on-premise and cloud environment (Data & Analytics).

• Ability to define architectural standards and mentor HD/BI teams
• Experience designing hybrid architectures (on-premise + cloud)
• Knowledge of data modeling and data flow design
• Experience defining and implementing SDLC processes for Data & Analytics solutions
• Experience automating production and maintenance processes of HD/BI solutions following DataOps practices
• Knowledge of CI/CD, GitOps, and Infrastructure as Code
• Understanding of Data Governance, Data Quality, Metadata Management, and Data Lineage
• Familiarity with data platforms (Oracle Exadata is a plus)
• Knowledge of DataOps practices and AI tools supporting software development (GitHub Copilot)
• Practical knowledge of process modeling using UML and BPMN
• Experience modeling systems based on Azure components

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of SAS 9.4 and/or SAS Viya
• Familiarity with Databricks

• Designing architectures for modern analytical systems in collaboration with domain and business architects and designers
• Defining architectural patterns based on the latest trends and technologies
• Supporting cloud system integration (Databricks) with existing on-premise Data Warehouse based on Oracle and SAS
• Automating development and maintenance processes using CI/CD, GitHub Copilot, and Visual Studio Code
• Providing internal technology consulting
• Ensuring architectural synergy of delivered solutions
