Android Developer

A senior or exceptional junior Android Engineer role in a team focused on innovation, contributing to projects shaping the future of Via Verde and national mobility.

• Proven experience in Android development with Kotlin
• Fluent spoken and written Portuguese
• Good understanding of modern architectures (MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture)
• Experience with collaboration tools (Jira, Git)
• Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively
• Critical thinking, attention to detail, and focus on quality
• Availability to travel for testing purposes
• Valid driving license

Nice to have:

• Experience in mobility or transportation projects
• Experience in building and using SDKs
• Knowledge of Firebase and CI/CD pipelines
• Interest in automated testing and application performance
• Experience with Android Auto and/or Android Automotive

• Participate in multiple complex and unconventional technical challenges
• Develop Android applications using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Clean Architecture, Room, Hilt, Coroutines, and Retrofit
• Write unit and UI tests
• Use tools such as Git, Fastlane (CI/CD), Jira, and Confluence
• Conduct structured code reviews
• Monitor applications and metrics
• Travel to company headquarters or Brisa infrastructures for testing when necessary
