Senior Network Security Engineer - Cisco & Palo Alto

• Expertise in Cisco routing and switching, including configuration, troubleshooting, and local administration.
• Proficient understanding of Cisco ISE for device management and removal procedures.
• Experience with Palo Alto firewalls, including local administration and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Panorama management and disconnection processes.
• Knowledge of network security assessments and the impact of removing dependencies.
• Understanding of Cisco and Palo Alto licensing and transfer requirements.

Nice to Have:

• Background in dependency analysis and change management.
• Experience with validation and testing post-separation.
• Skills in stakeholder management and secure credential handling.

• Transition Cisco switches and routers to local administration and standalone operations.
• Conduct separation processes for Palo Alto firewalls from centralized management.
• Assure detailed licensing reviews for Cisco and Palo Alto products.
• Identify and remove obsolete integrations and dependencies from network devices.
• Facilitate stakeholder communication across various technical teams.
• Implement change and rollback planning to mitigate administrative risks.
• Document existing configurations and procedures for operational continuity.

This role is based in Gentofte, Denmark, requiring the consultant to work onsite at least two times a week.
